I was present during this sermon. The times I had been there I was with my daughter, Jana. She was not with me because she was not speaking to me. When I walked in there to the congregation, I was so overwhelmed. I felt SMALL. There were so many people there, you had already begun (I was late), I missed my daughter going with me, and I just felt small. I allowed that feeling to really become me, and I could not focus on your message. Today my friend from Roseburg called me crying and she had just watched this on tv. She was so moved. She is actually the person that brought me back to thinking of Jesus again. Oh, I have a picture of Him in my living room, I have always loved Him, but I didn't really know Him, I don't think. I am beginning to again. If I ever really did. So, I recorded your sermon for tonight to watch. I thing came to your site searching. I clicked on the motorcycle sermon, which was WHAT I NEEDED TODAY!. Then, found this one. Thank you God for leading me because I wanted to appreciate this msg. I just had it all wrong. When I sat with the congregation....or among them....I wasn't connected because I felt small. When you threw the fruit out, I don't know why, but I really disconnected and thought, what is this???? You even through me purple grapes...when I saw you look my way, I said, oh please don't throw my way. You threw directly into my lap. I ate those grapes and those were the best purple grapes I have ever tasted, by the way! I didn't have the connection, though to quite get all your message. I allowed my ego, flesh, SELF, to take over and I lost what I came there for....somewhat. I had told my friend about it, and from what I told her she got it and thought it was beautiful that you tossed fruit into the congregation. She said I needed to receive that fruit one way or the other. I have listened, and heard and felt this beautiful msg. Thank you God for Aaron and our Christ led church community. Aaron, please don't think anything about what I mentioned about the large amount of people. That is beautiful. It was me, not the amount of people. God Bless All, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN. I'm so glad I started searching for one of your sermons and the one I got (because I'm not good with this computer) was this one because I kept pushing buttons, then this one popped up. I missed that day at the church and I have regretted every day that I have missed because I fell the presence of Jesus Christ and I need Him. It stays with me for a good while until I start living in myself again and then I am so thirsty for Him....He works through you, Aaron, and you must please know that. I know I need to be able to have him inside of me all the time through prayer, and living His Word. I am getting there. These messages have touched me so today with this sermon. I want to be of service, but is it to fulfill ME, or do my desires come from wanting to bring Glory to God? I think it's both. I have always wanted to help others and have being a nurse, and trying in my personal life. But, it has never been for the Glory of God. I want that now. I have asked Him to help me as you say. I have been reading a book that talks about being the author of your own life. It is written in the principle of the way Jesus lived. It reminds me of what you are saying about "Charting a Course". I guess you can also be the author of your life with God directing it. Same thing, I think sort of. I do believe "all things are possible with God" as you said and scripture says. As long as it IS WITH GOD. I guess, even though I have a great deal, the only book I really need is the Bible. I have, for many more years than I can count, wanted to do what your dream is as you shared about the transition home and food. I have added to that through the years, but you have to begin somewhere. I believe that will come to you and I would love to help. I have nothing, but myself to offer, and my tithing, with a little extra hear and there in the chest. I am making my commitment to God to pay my tithing beginning next month, which is almost here. The 10% is not as much as I would like to give, but I want to do what I can. Who knows, something may happen (with my footwork) to contribute more. I don't mind saying this about my tithing on this comment because it is what I think and FEEL. I also want to say regarding the tongue....it all starts in our mind, if we can just listen to what we think so we are careful to have God's thoughts and we'll speak those with our tongues. I'm not perfect, none of us are, so we'll have these thoughts that are like tapes in our minds....we need to cleanse them with God's thoughts and pick up and start over again. I am blessed by God to have listened to your messages today, but more importantly YOU ARE BLESSED BY GOD. God's Richest Blessings for you and yours, Aaron. I came to make a prayer request, while I was searching your site I came across the recordings, as a former member of Jubilee naturally I was drawn to click this sermon. Wow is all I can say. At a time when all I can do is cry came a message of encouragement so powerful it was as if it was meant just for me. I know I need to reconnect with God but feel handicapped to do so. This message was so powerful I locked the door of my business, went to my knees and prayed. I cried out more then I spoke real words. I dont think I knew what I was searching for but encouragement was exactly what I needed and still need. I will continue listening the SEE series and take in as much encouragement as I can get.
